Brother Martin junior Fritz Newburger received St. Francis Xavier’s 2013-14 Outstanding Parish Youth Award during the Leadership Recognition Celebration held Sunday, April 27th at St. Louis Cathedral. Award winners were nominated by their peers and recognized at the ceremony by Archbishop Gregory Aymond.
Fritz, a representative for Teen Cross, was nominated because of his involvement, dedication, personal integrity, and leadership qualities. Dawn Sisung, Youth Minister at St. Francis, stated that Fritz “has been a model Catholic” and she hopes he will continue to live his faith as an example to all. Congratulations Fritz!
