Senior Jake Broggi committed to play football at Louisiana State University. Broggi, 6-foot-4, 190-pound QB, signed his letter of intent to join the LSU Tigers as a preferred walk-on on Monday. He is the second quarterback in the 2016 recruiting class for the Tigers.
During the 2015 football season, Broggi passed for 2,837 yards and 28 touchdowns. He completed 62 percent of his throws and added one rushing score. Broggi will finish his high school football career as an all-time leading passer for Brother Martin. In 2014, he was inducted into the New Orleans Quarterback Club and received numerous accolades from the press for his position as quarterback. Currently, Broggi is a member of the National Honor Society, Campus Ministry, and an Academic Letterman at Brother Martin.
