On January 8, University of Alabama defeated the University of Georgia in the College Football Playoff National Championship. What makes this victory so special to Brother Martin is that alumnus Irvin Smith, Jr. ’16 was active on the field during this national championship game. Smith is a Tight End for Alabama and has had a productive year for the Crimson Tide. Overall for the season, he has had 14 catches and three touchdowns.
Congratulations to Irvin Smith, Jr. on his successful football career, thus far, with the University of Alabama and for winning a National Championship!
