The seventy-two members of the Brother Martin Chorus, along with family and friends, gathered at St. Catherine of Siena Church on Tuesday, December 11 for their annual Christmas Concert. Novice chorus members performed four pieces, including the Cameroon folk song "Belle Mama" and the traditional carol "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." The Advanced Chorus performed next, including "Carol of the Bells" and Neil A. Johnson's "I Will Sing Hallelujah."
Closing the concert were two songs performed by fifteen members of the Alumni Choir, graduates from 1977 all the way through 2018: Kim Andre' Arnesen's "Cradle Hymn" and the doo-wop styled "A Holly Jolly Christmas." As with all chorus concerts, alumni in the audience joined the three choirs for the singing of "O Sacred Heart." Thank you to Choral Director Kevin Caparotta '88 and all his students for their joyous singing!
