This week, all the 7th graders participated in a cross curricular program and wrote cards to military service members to help make the holiday season more special to them. In their English classes, the Crusaders designed and created the messages in their cards. Then, using Google Presentation, they created their cards to be printed. This was a great educational project that also showed support and appreciation to the members of our military.
Each year the American Red Cross deliver holiday cards to veterans, military families, and active duty members in hospitals and installations around the world. The cards and messages provide a touch of home for our troops during the holiday season.
