Forty Brother Martin students, students enrolled in AP European History, AP United States History, and the Louisiana State University dual enrollment US History class, traveled to LSU's campus in Baton Rouge this week for the fourth annual "History Day." Students attended college history classes including the US History class for which students are receiving a college credit. They also participated in an interactive experience in the Hill Memorial Library, the university's special collections. While in the library, the students examined primary documents, including a variety of texts, diaries, maps, and illustrations; they used these resources to answer questions posed for them by the library staff. The day also included an admissions presentation and tour of the Ogden Honors College of LSU.
Thank you, LSU, for making these Crusaders feel so welcome!
