Greg Anderson Named Newest Lacrosse Coach

IMG_1662The Brother Martin lacrosse team is proud to introduce Greg Anderson as our new head coach.  Through his dedication and knowledge of the game, Anderson led The Big Easy Lacrosse League (primarily consisting of Brother Martin students) this summer.

Coach Anderson was born and raised in Elkridge, Maryland where he played four years of  high school lacrosse, playing on both junior varsity and varsity teams. Additionally, he played college lacrosse for three years while attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMBC).  Coach Anderson came to New Orleans eight years ago, after accepting a position as Aquatics Center Manager with the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas.  His resume includes coaching various youth Lacrosse clinics, camps, and he most recently served as head coach for the junior varsity team at Jesuit High School.  In addition, Coach Anderson was an assistant coach for the Jesuit varsity team which won four state titles.
