Mr. Brent Rose, professor of music at UNO and Grammy-winning saxophonist for the New Orleans Nightcrawlers, recently taught a lesson on jazz to students of Mr. Chris Alley's '08 Fine Arts Survey classes. Professor Rose gave an in-depth lecture on Jazz in New Orleans, which included listening exercises, performing with his saxophone, and a collective discussion. We would like to thank Professor Rose for taking the time to teach our students in the pursuit of Academic Excellence.
