Golf Team Qualifies for State Championship

Congratulations to the Golf team for their performance in the Regional Championship. After a rough front nine, our Crusaders rallied to post a season-low team score of 320 and finished in 3rd place beating out Zachary High School and St. Pauls High School.

Cameron Avery and Dwayne Heron finished their last three holes 1-under par and posted scored of 80 and 79. After a tough start, Sport Faust shot a 39 on the last 9 holes to record an 84. Senior John-Carter posted an 82, while the Crusaders were led by a 77 from Zaire Stevenson.

The Crusader Golf Team will take to the road this Saturday to begin preparations for the State Championship next Monday and Tuesday. Congratulations to our golfers for qualifying for the State Championship in Lafayette!
