Our annual Crusader Discovery Night was turned into a Discovery DAY as prospective students in grades 6-8 received a warm welcome on Elysian Fields Avenue this previous Saturday, October 9th. These future Crusaders were able to play games in both the Conlin and Aloysius Gyms as well as in the Backyard before taking a break in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall.
Mr. Carlos Bogran III ‘99, Assistant Principal for Admissions, also provided an official welcome explaining the rest of the day’s activities which included four rotations: Science Demonstrations, Extracurricular Club Fair, LHSAA Athletic Team meet and greets with current players and coaches, and a Jeopardy game regarding knowledge about Brother Martin.
The evening concluded with a Discovery Day Pep Rally in the Conlin Gym led by the Student Council, Crusader Band, and our two-year consecutive Crusader Cheerleading National Champions. The event was a tremendous success, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus for our annual Open House, which promises to be another exciting, memorable experience. There is a lot happening at Brother Martin, and it has never been a better time to #BEaCRUSADER!
Thank you to all future Crusaders who attended our 2021 Crusader Discovery Day. We look forward to seeing each of you again soon for a school day tour, our Junior High Band Night on October 29, and Open House on Thursday, November 4, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. For more information about these events, please visit our Admissions page.
