We held our 2023 Crusader Discovery event on Saturday, September 23rd with 300+ 5th-8th grade students excitedly joining us on campus to learn what it means to #BEaCRUSADER. Upon check-in, future Crusaders were provided with Crusader wristbands that matched their group colors for their afternoon rotations. 

Immediately following check-in, future Crusaders had the opportunity to explore a variety of areas of our campus while playing games in the Conlin Gym, St. Aloysius Gym, Backyard, and Benson Mall. Students were then welcomed by Mr. Carlos Bogran III ‘99, Assistant Principal for Admissions, while they enjoyed refreshments in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall.

The next portion of the afternoon focused on our future Crusaders touring parts of our campus as they "discovered" Brother Martin High School for themselves through a variety of activities, which included Science Demonstrations in the Meyer Building, an Extracurricular Club Fair in the First Floor Resource Center, LHSAA Athletic Team meet and greets with current players and coaches in the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace, and a student presentation about "What It Means To Be A Champion".

We then all congregated for a very special Discovery Day Pep Rally in the Robert M. Conlin Gymnasium, which featured our Crusader Band, Brother Martin Cheerleaders, and Student Council.

It is a great time to #BEaCRUSADER, and we would like to thank each of the future Crusaders who attended this event. We would also like to invite our future Crusaders and their families to join us again for more opportunities to learn how Brother Martin High School is ‘Forming Young Men for Life’ through a School Day Tour, Information Night, Jr. High Band Night, and our Open House (scheduled for Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.). For more information about these events, please visit our Admissions page.
