Last November, Flow Tribe went on a 17 city tour of the East Coast. Starting in Atlanta, they traveled as far North as Boston and hit New York, D.C., and many others along the way. Also, Flow Tribe opened up for Trombone Shorty in Virginia Beach, and performed at the Kennedy Center in D.C.. Since then, the band has played shows in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Tennessee, Missouri, and other cities throughout the Southeast.
Flow Tribe was also nominated for Offbeat Magazine’s “Best of the Beat” Award for best funk act.
They will also be playing this year’s Jazz Fest and French Quarter Fest.
Alumni members of the band are K.C. O’Rorke ’04, Chad Penot ’04, Blake Quick ’04, Russell Olschner ’04, Bryan Santos ’04, and Mario Palmisano ’04 (filling in for part of the tour).
