Flag Flown for Brother Martin Cheer Team at U.S. Capitol

The Brother Martin Cheer Team recently placed first in the medium co-ed varsity division during the Universal Cheerleaders Association's National High School Cheerleading Championship at the Walt Disney World ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Congressman and Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mr. Steve Scalise, honored our Cheer Team by flying a flag of the United States over the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. last weekend. Congressman Scalise had this flag delivered to Brother Martin, and Brother Martin NJROTC cadets raised this very flag, which flew on our flagpole in the backyard this morning in honor of our Cheer Program and their incredible accomplishment, an accomplishment that has truly received national recognition. We would like to thank Congressman Scalise for this great honor and once again offer our congratulations to the Brother Martin Cheer program.
