Play Ball! This baseball season, ten games featuring some of the top baseball teams in the GNO area will air live in March and April as part of the First NBC Bank Prep Showcase on WHNO TV 20 and SportsNOLA.com. Brother Martin, who recently defeated Chalmette by a score 7-6, will go up against the John Curtis Patriots (defending league champs) on Tuesday, March 21 and the Archbishop Rummel Raiders on Tuesday, March 28. Both district games will be played at the “Rags” Scheuermann Field at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium. Ken Trahan and Danny Riehm will serve as the broadcast team for the First NBC Bank Prep Showcase’s baseball coverage for the sixth consecutive season.
