Father Jomanas Eustache visited Brother Martin High School to celebrate Mass and share his experiences of living a life of service to the poor in Haiti with our Crusaders. Father Joe was accompanied by Dr. David and Laura Fakier, who are friends and colleagues from Haiti Mission, Inc.
The following is derived from HaitiMissionInc.com:
Haiti Mission Incorporated (HMI) is a Louisiana-based, international, development organization that helps build sustainable projects to bring dignity, hope, love, joy, and faith to the people in the village of Numero Deux in Haiti, through Corporal Works of Mercy.
Father Jomanas Eustache was born in the Jacmel area and raised in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti in St. Joseph's Parish. He was ordained for the diocese of Jeremie as a member of the secular institute - “Voluntas Dei” or (the Will of God Institute). Father Joe joined the priesthood as a way to challenge social injustices, teaching people about Haiti is a way to help his people. He has degrees in Canon Law, Civil Law, and Communications.
We would like to thank Father Jomanas Eustache for modeling for our Crusaders a life lived in sacrifice for others as Jesus did in our continued aim to Form these Young Men with Religious Values for Life.
