On Wednesday, October 23rd, members of the Excalibur Science National Honor Society for Excellence in Science traveled to Cornerstone Chemical Company in Waggaman, LA, to participate in a Job Shadow experience.  Students were separated into several groups: chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, and information technology. After a briefing about the company and safety, the students went to the different areas of the plant to observe professionals working in each area. The students were able to ask questions and learn on-site what it is to be a professional in these fields.
