Members of the Symphonic Band, Novice Band, and Concert Band impressed 400+ audience members this week in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall for their annual Spring Concert. Performing a wide variety of music from Robert Sheldon’s “Matrix” to Michael Sweeney’s “Cayuga Lake Overture” to Dr. Earl Fox’s “Centrifuge,” the musicians flexed their instrumental muscles for the entertainment of concert goers. Highlights of the evening included a special tribute performance of “Mountain Thyme,” in memory of Ms. Lauren Brocato, daughter of math teacher Mrs. Eileen Brocato, and “Ambuscade,” an original composition of senior drum major Antonio Suarez. Thanks to all band members and to Band Directors Dominick Caronna ‘85 and Chris Bailey ‘86 and student teacher band director Ms. Katherine Davis.
