Eagle Scout is the highest honor attainable by young men who have participated in Boy Scouts. Acquiring this rank identifies the culmination of years of training, learning life skills, and performing countless hours of service in the Boy Scout tradition of honor and duty to “God and . . . Country, . . . to obey the Scout Law, to help other people at all times, to keep . . . physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight,” as the Boy Scout Oath outlines. In addition, these young men have completed a major project of service to their community and must then pass an Eagle Scout Board of Review. We would like to congratulate the following Crusaders who have attained the rank of Eagle Scout:

I planned, prepared for, and organized the project and led a team of fellow scouts to restore the vinyl siding, lattice, and ramp of a storage shed for a nearby preschool.

I built a "Little Free Library" Take a Book. Share a Book. Building Community. Inspiring Readers. Expanding Book Access. for book-sharing play an essential role by providing 24/7 access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds at a convenient location at no cost. Everyone is given the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read while not limited by time, space, or privilege. Benefit to the community and Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation-Terrytown Playground and Terrytown Golden Age Center. Book-sharing box location is on the "Little Free Library" World Map for everyone in the busy Terrytown suburb community of New Orleans.
Congratulations to these Crusaders for earning this incredible, rare achievement! We are so proud of your hard work. Thank you for modeling acts of service and doing "a good turn daily" for everyone in our community.
