This past week, Dylan Rhoton ‘24 and Mr. Micah Silver ‘09 traveled with 13 other students across Louisiana to compete in the Mu Alpha Theta National Convention in Washington, D.C. Dylan currently serves as the Louisiana Mu Alpha Theta State Secretary-Treasurer, and he was encouraged by his peers to run for national office. Through an election process consisting of delegates from across the nation, Dylan was elected the National President of Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society, which is an organization that serves over 2,456 chapters and 104,586 active members. Dylan commented that he is "thrilled to have this opportunity to represent Brother Martin High School, as well as Louisiana, on a national stage." Dylan attributes this achievement "to the supportive community of Brother Martin’s faculty and his peers, who have all supported him through every venture."
We are so proud of Dylan and our Mu Alpha Theta team for representing Brother Martin High School so exceptionally well. Congratulations to Dylan and all of our Crusaders!
