Dr. Michael Finan '77 Named Director of USA Mitchell Cancer Institute

University of South Alabama President Dr. Tony Waldrop has named Dr. Michael Finan ’77 as director of the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute. Finan’s appointment follows a national search process and a unanimous recommendation by the search committee.

Finan will provide strategic direction to MCI and will oversee both clinical and research initiatives, including management of the complex clinical operations.
