Dr. James Lange Visits Brother Martin’s Excalibur National Science Honor Society

Dr. James Lange SA '64 spoke with our Crusaders in the Excalibur National Science Honor Society this morning at their monthly meeting. Dr. Lange discussed four major viruses of the 20th Century: Ebola, Marburg, SARS (Coronavirus), and Monkeypox. In his presentation, he explained how viruses are tracked, contained, and spread.

Dr. Lange comes with vast experience working with news-worthy diseases.  He started his profession in 1974 working on hemorrhagic fever viruses and has since worked with the Ebola Vaccine Project in Sierra Leone and with the Zika virus outbreak in Puerto Rico.

Thank you, Dr. Lange, for sharing your wisdom and experience with our Crusaders in the pursuit of Academic Excellence and forming these young men for life!
