The Student Councils of Brother Martin and St. Mary’s Dominican just completed a friendly competition to see which school could collect the most canned goods for donation to Second Harvesters Food Bank. Brother Martin collected 3,710 cans, with over 1,500 cans collected on one day! Dominican collected roughly 23,000 cans! No one really “loses” this competition because Second Harvesters will be able to keep their pantry stocked to help needy families in our New Orleans area. Thanks to all students and teachers at both schools who participated in this food drive!
