The Brother Martin Dionysians "broke a leg" with a slew of incredible performances of "Zombie Prom," which is currently running through Oct. 30th, 2021. Senior Bryson Mesa '22, who plays Eddie Flagrante, provided a brief summary highlighting the current production being put on by the Dionysians:
"Rebel Jonny Warner (Hunter Nastasi, '22) has started anew at Enrico Fermi High School. There, he's introduced to the domineering principal of the school Delilah Strict (Katherine Wise, Lucy Ehrhardt) and the rest of the cheery student body. He also meets Toffee (Christa Alley, Savannah Westacott) during one of the school's many nuclear drills and they both fall in love at first sight. Things are going well until Toffee is pressured by both her parents and Ms. Strict to break up with Jonny. Jonny, heartbroken, rides off into the night and takes a dive into the nuclear plant near the high school. A grief-stricken Toffee discovers the now zombified Jonny in her locker as he rocks the world of both her and the rest of the high school, including a now outraged Ms. Strict. Local reporter Eddie Flagrante (Bryson Mesa '22) hears of this shocking story and decides to investigate. With the prom swiftly approaching, and the increasing threat of its cancellation, the students protest against Ms. Strict's tyranny as the story unravels."
Thank you, Bryson, for your contribution. If you're "dying" to see a spooktacular show, then come on out to see "Zombie Prom" put on by our Dionysians on Oct. 28th, 29th, and 30th at 7 p.m.
