LSU-bound Gregory Deichmann ’14 made a lasting impression at this year’s Connie Mack World Series. Deichmann went 8-for-18 (.444), scored twice and chased in three runs in the six-game tournament. This performance earned Deichmann the Joseph R. Cooper individual batting title from the eight-team field and a spot on the All-Tournament team at third base.
Deichmann was a four year starter at Brother Martin and helped lead the team to three District 9-5A championships and two State Quarterfinal appearances.
