D.J. Augustin ’06 returned home Saturday night as the Chicago Bulls faced the New Orleans Pelicans. D.J. led the Bulls in scoring with 23 points but the hometown Pelicans got the win, 88-79. Jay Romig ’72 arranged for a pre-game meeting with D.J. and alumni director Kenny Spellman ’84. They were joined by Alumni Board member Milton Dureau ’69 CJ. While on the court before the game, Kenny and Milton also met with Alan Thriffiley ’95 and John Dimaggio ’60 who work the scorer’s table at Pelican home games. Phil Brock ’00 and D.J.’s former teammates Ryan Brock ’05 and Courtney Wallace ’06 along with other Crusaders were in attendance at the New Orleans Arena.
