On the morning of Tuesday, October 29, Brother Martin had its annual school-wide assembly in observance of the Catholic Church’s Respect Life Month. This year’s assembly was a presentation put together by Ben Comer from Next Generation Ministries. Mr. Comer is the father of Wesley Comer, ‘17, and has been serving the schools of the Greater New Orleans Region for the last twenty years with moral and character education presentations. The presentation today focused on the life issue of human trafficking and how we are called to be heroes and step up to help people in need. The presentation featured a 3D video featuring different people’s stories. This presentation is being given to many high schools in the archdiocese this week.
