Last week, our Culinary Crusaders had the opportunity to meet on-air with Chef Kevin Belton ‘77, Brother Martin alumnus and past-parent, for his cooking show on WYES News Channel 12. The Culinary Crusaders first met with Chef Austin, a member of Chef Belton’s team, for a hands-on experience in making a bacon burger slider. They even got treated to a taste of the delicious slider!

Then our Culinary Crusaders had a chance to stand in during one of Chef Belton’s cooking broadcast on WYES. What a great experience for our future chefs and current students!

Chef Belton’s New Orleans Celebrations will air on WYES-TV and PBS stations nationwide beginning April 2019.

The students can currently watch Kevin Belton’s “New Orleans Kitchen” on WYES-TV/Channel 12 on Saturdays at 9:30 am and Sundays at 1:00 pm.
