The Culinary Crusaders, a new extracurricular club at Brother Martin, is featured in The Clarion Herald. This club, under the direction of Mr. Donnie Midkiff ’03 and Mr. Billy Rieger ’95, consists of students who share a passion for food. It also focuses on the teaching and practice of culinary skills, nutritional eating habits, and community service. Not only can these Crusaders cook, but they are also carrying out the mission of service with ‘courage and confidence’ while they’re cooking!
On Saturday, March 11, the Culinary Crusaders will be present at the Christian Brothers Music, Food, and Craft Fest. The fair begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 11 p.m. Come enjoy the Culinary Crusaders’ cuisine of “Sader Wings” accompanied with a ‘Crimson’ (spicy chipotle) or a ‘Gold’ sauce (sweet honey mustard).
