The Crusaders opened the Newman Invitational Tuesday night against Cohen High School. Brother Martin outscored Cohen in every quarter and defeated the Green Hornets 71-33 in the first round of Newman Invitational Tournament.
Jordan Cornish finished with 18 points to lead the Crusaders while Luke Walker added 10 points of his own. Bruce Jordan contributed nine points, Logan Mancuso chipped in eight points, and Austin Gauthreaux had six points.
Brother Martin will play the winner of the St. Augustine vs. Edna Karr game.
