The Crusaders (7-2, 3-2) defeated the Shaw Eagles (4-5, 1-4) by a score of 42-21 at Tad Gormley Stadium on Friday, October 30, 2015. With Running Back Bruce Jordan-Swilling limited by an ankle injury, sophomores Erick Lassair and Matthew Alfonso picked up the slack. Lassair ran for 59 yards and three touchdowns while Alfonso chipped in with 44 yards and a touchdown. Then, Quarterback Jake Broggi threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns to Jeremy Singleton and Dennis Robertson. Senior Tight End Irvin Smith, Jr. added five catches for 78 yards for the Crusaders. Congratulations, Crusaders!
The Crusaders will be back under the lights on Friday, November 6, 2015 at Tad Gormley against the Jesuit Blue Jays. Kick- off is set for 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through the Bookstore for $7, or at $8 at the gate.
