On Thursday evening, the Conlin Gymnasium was taken over by the annual Cub Crusader Clash! Mount Carmel Academy came to Brother Martin’s campus to participate in an evening of fun relay-style games. Each year, there is a winner of the Cub Crusader Clash and the champion gets to keep the trophy at their school until the next year’s ‘Clash’.
“I think Cub-Crusader Clash went amazing, we had a blast yelling chants back and forth with Mount Carmel. We cheered on our class levels as we competed in many different games. Mount Carmel took an early lead in beating us in the first two games, but we didn’t give up. We ended up winning 8-6, regaining the Cub Crusader Trophy. Since we won the event, our Student Council Executive board pied their Executive board which really hyped up the students. All in all, I think it was a great turn out, from not having it last year to making its way back to close to 250 people altogether competing. In the end, it was a great night, because all proceeds went to charity, and we got the chance to compete against Mount Carmel,” said senior and student council president, Colby Coulon.
Thank you to the Brother Martin and Mount Carmel student council and executive board members who worked so hard in planning this evening of fun!
