Crusaders Travel to Texas for 8th Grade Trip

IMG_1694Brother Martin 8th graders and faculty traveled to Texas last week for the annual Brother Martin 8th grade trip.  The trip departed school on Monday May 30th and returned on Friday June 3rd.  The students and faculty visited many attractions in the Dallas and San Antonio areas.  Such attractions included the JFK assassination site, VIP tours of the Texas Rangers ballpark and AT&T Stadium.  The students even had time to hit a few golf balls at Top Golf following with a night of entertainment at Main Event which included bowling, laser tag, and arcade games.  The roller coasters at Six Flags over Dallas provided an adrenaline rush for everybody.  On Wednesday morning, the students headed to San Antonio with a stop at the Alamo, then to Sea World, and concluded with a dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse.  The rain held off long enough to enjoy Schlitterbahn, and an evening at the San Antonio Riverwalk.  The trip was a huge success thanks to the efforts of the faculty and students!
