The Beach Volleyball Club took to the sand for their second meeting against the Holy Cross Tigers on Tuesday, October 7th. All members of the team were in action for this best of 3 series. The team of Parker Corpora, Michael Hickman, Nathan Levandoske, and Patrick Quinn won their match in 2 games to give the Crusaders an early 1 game lead (21-16, 21-16). The duo of Ashton Bonura and Austin Bourgeois fought hard and almost clawed their way into a game three but fell short to a talented Tiger team (21-14, 21-16). With the match tied at 1 game apiece, the quads team of Brandon Bonura, Anthony Centanni, Danny Spring, and Zack Ward battled their way to a game three win to secure the victory for Brother Martin (17-21, 21-14, 15-9). This team win moves the club to an undefeated club record with only two weeks remaining in the season.
Brother Martin will play Jesuit next Tuesday at White Sands starting at 4:30.
