In a thrilling Thursday night game, the Brother Martin Crusaders found themselves matched up with the John Ehret Patriots. Ehret scored first with a deep pass to WR Dajuan Garrison. The Crusaders answered back with a rushing TD from sophomore running back Jared West. After another Patriot TD and a score from Jacob Seward, the first half ended with a scored of 13-13. Coming out of the half, the Crusaders scored first with a FG from Mitchell Boudreaux but immediately found themselves behind after Ehret returned the following kickoff. With 7:00 minutes remaining, the Crusaders began to pull away adding a TD by Jared West and another from Alex Migliore to make the score 30-20. With Ehret’s time running out, the Crusaders made a key defensive stop with great plays coming from Juniors Jared James and Kim Solomon.
