On Friday night, the Crusaders (4-3, 1-2) extended their winning streak by defeating the Holy Cross Tigers by a score of 42-10 at their Homecoming game at Zephyr Stadium. Head coach Mark Bonis and staff led the Crusaders to a victory against the Tigers while reaching his 50 win milestone while at Brother Martin. Another impressive stat of the night was the Crusader defense limiting the Tigers to -1 rushing yard on 23 attempts. Quarterback John-Paul “JP” Pierce led a very efficient passing attack, completing 7 of 10 passes for 179 yards and four touchdowns. Jeremy Singleton was the recipient of two of those touchdown passes and finished the night with 120 yards receiving. Erick Lassair and Pattre’en Hughes were the other recipients of Pierce’s touchdown throws.
Join us on Friday night for the the Pep Rally and Homecoming game against the Archbishop Rummel Raiders. The game begins at 7 p.m. at Tad Gormley Stadium. The presentation of the 2016 Homecoming Court will take place at the end of the halftime show. Tickets can be purchased in the Bookstore for $6…or $8 at the gate. Student id’s, faculty id’s and season passes will be honored for this game.
