On Tuesday, October 11, 2016, the Crusader golf team stepped on to the Bartholomew Golf Course to play the St. Augustine Purple Knights. The Crusaders recently took a loss against Jesuit, but came around on Tuesday defeating St. Augustine by a score of 159-239. Coach Ron Brisbi ’67 SA and Golf Moderator Donnie Midkiff ’03 were present watching the Crusaders take charge on the course. Freshman Dwayne Heron led the team with a 38, followed by senior Wondell Smith and sophomore Zaire Stevenson both with 39’s, and freshman Connor Richoux with a 43. Coach Ron Brisbi ’67 SA and Golf Moderator Donnie Midkiff ’03 have watched the Crusaders take charge on the course throughout the season.
The golf team completes the fall district season on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 vs. the Holy Cross Tigers at Lakewood Country Club for 3:30 p.m.
