Crusaders Take First Place in Academic Games Competition

dsc_0664The varsity Academic Games team, for the second year in a row, took home the New Orleans Academic Games League Equations Championship. Senior Hunter Mathas defended his national title in Equations by remaining the only undefeated Varsity Division individual in the local tournament. Austin Kain finished second overall—just two points shy of a perfect score. This is now the second team title that the Brother Martin Academic Games team has garnered this season.

In the Middle Division, eighth graders Patrick Carter and Michael Zuppardo both won their final matches. Also, Scott Hew was only one point away from the Junior Varsity Top 10.
