Crusaders Swim for a Cure

The Crusader swim team dived into the pool at the UNO Aquatics Center to compete in the annual Breast Cancer Invitational/Stand Up to Cancer Invitational on Saturday, October 8, 2016. The meet was a league fundraiser, hosted by Cabrini High School, to raise money for various cancer awareness programs. The Crusaders finished in 2nd Place with 287 points out of 13 teams (19 total high schools) under the leadership of coach Mark Bordelon. The Top Five finishers were Jarrett Bealer ’17 in the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle, Shawn Brown ’17 in the 100 yard freestyle, and Ryan O’Connor ’19 in the 100 yard butterfly. Congratulations, swimmers!
