In early December, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church’s Wing and a Prayer Productions staged a singing of A Christmas Carol:The Musical with a full orchestra, ensemble, and costumes. The show featured several Brother Martin alumni who played various roles in the pay: Scott Sauber ‘93 playing Bob Cratchit, Alex Christian Lucas ‘16 playing The Ghost of Christmas Present, Ryan Nocito ‘06 playing Mr. Fezziwig, and Aaron Didier ‘15 playing a member of the ensemble. The orchestra also featured two alumni, Justin Blanchard ‘14 who played the organ and Ben Buller ‘16 who played the piano. In addition, many current Dionysians attended the event in support of their fellow Crusaders.
On January 7, 2017 at 7 p.m., the Brother Martin Dionysians will be putting on an Alumni Musical Revue to raise money for the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Mission in Amatongas, Africa. Tickets are $10 at the door with all proceeds benefiting the mission. Last year, the Dionysians raised nearly $3,000 for the mission, which covered the operating expenses of the mission for three months. This year, the Dionysians hope to double last year’s goal by hosting this Alumni Musical Revue.
Mark your calendars to support a good cause and plan to attend a wonderful evening of performances!
