Through the cold weather, thirteen Brother Martin Crusaders and four faculty members participated in the annual Archdiocesan Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day On, Not Off of Service. In partnership with Sustaining Our Urban Landscape, we helped plant 117 native trees in New Orleans. These tree plantings are part of a revitalization project to recover the natural beauty and environmental sustainability in often marginalized neighborhoods. Even on their day off from school, our Crusaders gave it their all and honored the legacy of Dr. King by giving back and serving the vulnerable in our community.
