“Serve One Another in Love.” Galatians 5:13

Congratulations to our Crusaders who were recognized this past weekend at the Annual Archdiocesan Leadership Celebration at the St. Louis Cathedral. Recognized as Parish Youth Leaders were Nick Gonsoulin of St. Agnes, William Leonard of St. Angela Merici, Matthew Sharp of St. Cletus, and Patrick Newburger of St. Francis Xavier.  Also recognized were Michael Wilson of St. Ann, Michael Connick of St. Benilde, Ethen Hew of St. Edward the Confessor, and Emmanuel Levy of St. Clement of Rome. Bryce Barbaro was  also recognized as the Matt Hill Award recipient.  This award recognizes a student who has gone above and beyond throughout their high school years with their CYO athletic teams.

Finally, the highest award given at the ceremony is the St. Timothy Award. This award recognizes those students who exemplify Christian service, Catholic leadership, and good moral standards. They have offered their time and talents in service of their church parish and the community at large.  Congratulations to Alex Hassinger of St. Angela Merici, Les Levy of St. Clement of Rome, Patrick Newburger of St. Francis Xavier, and Ryan O’Rourke of St. Christopher the Martyr who each received the St. Timothy Award. Brother Martin is very proud to have such outstanding young men doing great things in their church parishes!
