Crusaders Participate in the "Battle of the Blood"

On Thursday, January 5, 2017, Brother Martin assisted in giving the ‘Gift of Life’ at the semi-annual Ochsner Blood Drive here on campus. This was a special day where Crusaders from the senior and junior classes, faculty and families participated in the “Battle of the Blood” to see who could save the most lives by donating blood…and the seniors won! In addition, Ochsner also gives back to the community and to Brother Martin by awarding a scholarship at the end of the school year to a student who donated blood at either of the year’s drives.
