Crusaders Open Doors to Prospective Students

IMG_4332Hundreds of prospective Crusaders and their families visited Brother Martin High School for the annual Open House. The event allows guests to tour the extensive and ever-expanding campus; learn about the various spiritual, academic, athletic, and activity offerings; and, most important, meet our current Crusaders, parents, and alumni–the Brother Martin family. Over 500 current students assisted in the evening, serving as tour guides, greeters, and activity and athletic representatives. The evening featured practices by the Crusader cheerleaders, wrestling, and basketball teams, as well as performances by the Crusader band and chorus. Each academic department created a display, and visitors also took part in information sessions on 7th grade and our standardized test preparation program. Visitors also witnessed “tech spots,” where current students worked on their own individual devices using technology applications for learning. Visiting students and their families had opportunities to ask questions on all aspects of school life and enjoy some social time with refreshments in the Terrace at the conclusion of the tour. Thank you to all of our guests who came to visit Brother Martin and learn more about “what it means to be a Crusader!”
