Crusaders Lock Down the Mustangs

Brother Martin played a complete game vs. the McMain Mustangs in Friday night’s 75-40 victory in the Conlin Gym. The Crusaders pressured the Mustangs throughout the entire game which helped them control the game to keep and maintain an early lead.

For Brother Martin, the win came as a full team effort with points coming from a number of different players. Jared West scored four points, Drew Lewis had seven points, Jordan Cornish scored 15, Austin Gauthreaux had five points, Jeremy Horn finished with three points, Bruce Jordan put up 15 points, Venjie Wallis tallied 10 points, Jeremy Singleton scored six, Luke Walker recorded two points and Logan Mancuso had eight points.

With the win, Brother Martin improves to 15-4 this season and will face John Curtis on Tuesday at home. The 8th grade team will tip off the afternoon at 4:00 pm with the rest of the squads to follow.
