“Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38
On Thursday, May 8, Brother Martin High School hosted a May Crowning ceremony following the morning liturgy held in the James B. Branton Chapel, officiated by Father Emmanuel Mulenga. Following the liturgy, a May Crowning took place, during which Caleb Cook '27 placed a crown of flowers upon the statue of the Virgin Mary, and members of the monthly Parents Club rosary group and guests each laid a flower at the feet of Our Lady. Mr. Dominick Caronna ’85, Alex Ng ’27, and Jacob Pichon ‘26 provided a musical accompaniment during the crowning ceremony. Each guest received a special prayer card with the mysteries of the Holy Rosary, graciously provided by the Ladies of the Shield and Campus Ministry. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in the May Crowning of Mary, Mother of God.
The Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
