Sophomores in Mrs. Rebecca Stroud’s and Mr. Michael Cappo’s western civilization classes are utilizing Quizlet Live to prepare for chapter assessments. Quizlet Live allows all students to work together on their personal devices to answer sample questions to review for assessments. Students are grouped randomly by Quizlet and compete against the other groups in class to be the first group to answer twelve consecutive questions. At the conclusion of each set of questions, the groups are then shuffled and new groups are formed. Students are also able to access material from Quizlet.com after class to help them study outside of class for the upcoming assessment. Quizlet Live has helped to create a very competitive and collaborative learning environment for the students in class.
