Brother Martin capped off its spring football with a good showing against Slidell High in a scrimmage game on Wednesday afternoon. Rising senior Jared West shined on offense rushing for two touchdowns against the Tiger defense.
Crusader signal caller junior quarterback Jake Broggi showed some promise throwing accurate passes to the Crusader wide receivers.
The Crusader defense flexed its muscles forcing multiple fumbles and causing redzone struggles for the Slidell offense.
Brother Martin will participate in the Brothers of the Sacred Heart jamboree on Friday, August 29th at Nicholls St. for its first taste of fall action.
