In the fall semester, students enrolled in advanced math honors and pre-calculus had the opportunity to earn LSU credit through the Dual Enrollment program. Students in advanced math honors took college trigonometry, and students in pre-calculus took college algebra. 32 students opted to take the Dual Enrollment program between the two classes, and 100% of them earned college credit! Students in pre-calculus will continue to take college trigonometry in the spring for college credit. This same opportunity for LSU Dual Enrollment will be available for the 2017 – 2018 school year for the advanced math honors, pre-calculus, american history, and English IV/V Honors courses.
