On Friday, October 5th, the Crusader football team came up short against the West Jeff Buccaneers by a score of 38-30 in the District opener for both teams. The team played hard and was led by senior Jabbar Singleton who rushed for 280 yards and scored three touchdowns on runs of 13, 57 and 32 yards. The loss puts the Crusader record at 2-3 for the season.
This Friday is Brother Martin’s Homecoming Game against the Chalmette Owls at Tad Gormley Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm with tailgating festivities starting at 5:00! Come out and cheer the Crusaders to victory. Go ‘Saders!
