Brother Martin High School, together with Sister Vera Butler and Lantern Light Ministry at St. Joseph’s Church, will be helping to provide needed clothing items for the homeless in the City of New Orleans. Last week, Crusaders brought in new and gently used socks that will enable Sister Vera to provide for the homeless. Students were encouraged to bring sock donations to their Religion classrooms last week, and took part in the “Crazy Sock Day,” and the “Change for Change” collections. In addition, Brother Carl Bouchereau incorporated the drive into the Easter Liturgy on Friday mentioning those who will benefit from the “fruits of our labors.”
Thank you to all of our Crusader families who donated to this worthy cause, and thank you to the Welcoming Diversity Club who coordinated these efforts!
